I feel like there will an explosion soon - whether it's physical or verbal - I don't know, but something is going to happen. I don't blame the younger ones for being upset and acting out. Sometimes yelling your defiance is the only way you can deal, even if the punishment is harsh. Yet at the same time it's obvious there are several people who are provoking others so they can hurt them.

Sick little bastards.

What happened to Neville just makes me ill... yet I would have made the same stand as he did.

For the record, I'm not ashamed of them and nor am I ashamed of helping to protect them so they could try to lead normal lives and not get sent to Azkaban. In fact, thank you, it's a relief to actually be able to say, proudly, that my parents are Muggleborn.

It says a lot about how much I pay attention to Valentine's Day that when I overhear two girls talking about how excited they are for the 'big day' my first thought is that they're talking about the Quidditch match this weekend.

Not all of you may have known Kevin Entwhistle, but I did. I shared a dorm room with him for six years. He was a good bloke who loved playing Gobstones and his favourite subjects were Arithmancy and Herbology. He also cared greatly for his little sister Jillian. To do what he was accused and killed for is unthinkable.

For those who wish to I propose observing a two minute silence for Kevin and his sister Jillian, whose whereabouts and wellbeing are unknown. At dinnertime, at 5.30pm, just cease talking and eating, look down and offer your prayers and thoughts.
